Hello from Paris ! I hope you are all doing well this weekend. So carrying on with my travel extravaganza the next stop on my trip happens to be Paris. Mum and I decided it would be nice to have a girly weekend away, just the two of us. It was also a perfect opportunity to visit our really good friends who live in Paris, whom we haven’t seen for over a year and a half, so it was definitely time for a catch up ! 😉 On our first day, my friend and I decided to go to Bois de Boulogne in central Paris, famous for its large lakes and rose garden it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy the busy city from a different perspective and to enjoy the greenery and peacefulness of the surrounding area.
Paris both famous for its food and fashion, It was only fitting for me to wear something with a little streak of Parisian. So I decided to wear this stunning ruffle collar blouse from Alexa Chung’s M&S collection; this shirt is just so timeless with its monochrome shade and simple cut. I paired this with my bright cobalt blue topshop suede skirt to add some colour and shape to the outfit. Of course I decided to wear my all time favourite Limited Edition Phillip Lim bag and my dusty vintage Dr Martens for comfort and casualness. To me this outfit shouts out colour and texture without being too complicated and busy; it certainly adds a modern touch to the classic Parisian look.
I guess I shall see you in my next blog post and thank you for reading ! 😀 Let me know what you thought about this post ! I love reading and replying to all your lovely comments <3
