Exploring London by foot has always been something I love doing, there is no-where else I’d rather go at Christmas than Nottinghill. It’s always so beautiful with pretty tree’s in windows and so many holly wreath’s on door fronts! 🙂 Although I’ve been to Nottinghill multiple times in the past, there is always something to see and new places to explore in the area. This time, my friend and I decided to try The Farm Girl Café because it’s so well known in the ‘blogging world’ we wanted to see if it is as good as people say it is. (There will be a whole blog post about our Farm Girl experience soon!)
I must admit, I’ve recently cleared out my wardrobe and decided to revamp it with some new contemporary classics. With that in mind I went and bought this stunning crisp white H&M shirt, it’s so elegant yet modern with the cute little bow! It’s definitely different to your average white shirt which is why I love it ! 😉
Since the shirt is pretty simple, I’m wearing my paint splattered ripped jeans and my favourite furry Adidas Stan Smiths. Adding a little texture like fur or rips is a good way to brighten things up and create a unique outfit; it’s all about being that little bit different 😉 . This look is where chic meets edgy, it’s something that bloggers do a lot but I like to do it a little differently by wearing a dash of bright colour. In the winter months, adding a bit of colour can the make difference in preventing your look form looking a bit gloomy.
I’ve worn my furry Stan Smith’s in past blog posts but I’ve never actually talked about them in detail, so I thought I might do so here ! I was inspired by the brand PiNNED by K who design leather and fur fringes for trainers. I was going to get a pair but they costed £20 and I wasn’t willing to spend that money :/ . After doing some research I managed to make my own for under £5! 😀 It’s literally the perfect way to add some fun colours and textures to an outfit and will definitely make you stand out from the crowd! I was thinking of writing a blog post about how to make them, so if you’re interested comment down below! 😀
Wearing accessories is also another way to jazz up your winter outfit. I’m wearing my new favourite dangly earrings by the Belgium brand Tellmee who very kindly sent them in the post. I’m also wearing my one and only diesel watch which I have been wearing for years! I guess you could say that luminous yellow and purple seem a bit odd together, but sometimes a little oddness is what you need in your life! 😉
To bring everything together I’m wearing my well cherished and classic Whistles Verity rucksack, (also known as my Mary Poppins bag because it can literally fits everything inside!) Since we were walking around for the whole day I wanted something practical yet stylish.
Well, with Christmas around the corner I really hope you all have a fabulous festive time with all your friends and family! I shall see you all soon after Christmas.
Merry Christmas my dears! Izzy xxx
